Chocolate Mousse with a fun twist

While I did not get my mother’s “love cooking” gene, I still enjoy experimenting in the kitchen with fun ingredients. Recently, I gave the banana chocolate mousse recipe a try and it was a resounding success. This is a quick and overwhelmingly easy recipe to follow that guarantees delicious results. Most importantly, it is a hit at dinner parties and totally sells the treat as a time consuming, mouthwatering deliciousness. Let’s get cookin!

Preparation time: 15 min | Difficulty level: Low | Serving: 6

2 cups mashed bananas | 1 cup melted milk chocolate | cup 35% whipped cream | walnuts

Step by Step

♦ For all my sweet tooth ladies and gents out there, let’s start by microwaving 1 cup of milk chocolate. Make sure to stir the mixture after taking it out of the microwave.

♦ In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer to beat 3 cups of 35% whipped cream on a low to medium setting. When you notice the consistency thicken and small peaks form, it is time for…

♦ Add in the chocolate mixture and the bananas into the bowl of whipped cream and blend all together on a low setting with an electric mixer. (Mash the bananas ahead of time).

♦ Voila, your banana chocolate mousse is ready. For an extra touch, add some crushed walnuts for a more decorative feel and enjoy!

What is your go to secret recipe at dinner parties?
