Instrumental music, Thanksgiving and an apology

Hello everyone! Hope all you Canadians out there had a wonderful thanksgiving and for all you Americans, sucks that you have to wait another month for that Butterball turkey! Last week was a toughie for Kvitka and myself because we were swamped with commitments: work, university, family and social life, which meant we took a blog vacation. This weekend we realised how grateful we were to this blog and all our readers. We’re back and we’d like to thank you for sticking with us! We hope you understand how much A Lipstick Trilogy means to us.Β

My favourite music has always been instrumental music and movie soundtracks. The drama, the emotion, the intensity–all helps me focus. Today I’d like to shine the spotlight on my most played track on my Focus playlist: La valse d’AmΓ©lie by Yann Tiersen. It’s absolutely calming and contemplative. I love working to it. The version below is by Mike Lew. Have a listen:

Until next time,

Rochelle
