Healthy Lunches Rethought

Mornings are made for those energetic, on the go people but for those of you who, like me, aren’t always on the ball and often w ake up late, smoothies are a life saver. Below you’ll find my healthy daily smoothie recipe that is energising and filling for those late morning snacks, breakfasts or brunches. Have I mentioned it’s healthy?

Ingredients:

1 or 2 Kiwis

6 or 8 strawberries

2 tbsp Greek Yoghurt

1/2 cup almond milk

1/4 cup bran flakes

A sprinkling of raisins

*Bananas are optional!

Just throw these into a mixer and pulse about four times. I like to add a little lemon to my smoothies! Just pour the resulting pink smoothie into a tall glass and enjoy!
