A Meal Ready in No Time

We are all for easy yet filling and organic meal options. With crazy work weeks and school, we find ourselves resolving to frequent snacking and unbalanced meals. However, this recipe has been our recent go to for breakfast or lunch which can be prepared in no time.

Ingredients: two handfulls of spinach, 1 tomato, a handful of blueberries, 2 eggs, 1 sausage, 2 cucumbers

We decided the healthiest option would include all the food groups: dairy, fruits and vegetables, protein (no grains here). Know what the food can do for you:

  • Tomatoes and spinach are high in vitamin K needed for bone strength and vitamin A for healthy skin and hair
  • Cucumbers have a highย concentration of water whichย hydrates your body
  • Blueberries increase the production of the hormone dopamine- enjoyment hormone
  • Eggs are rich in iron and sausages are a source of protein
  • Cottage cheese is a source of calcium needed for muscle health
